Pressure Regulator or Pressure Reducing Valve - Rigid plastic and screws on to a mains water tap with a 3/4 " diameter thread. Our female threaded Tap Adaptor screws on to the other end providing the starting point for connecting your installation. Reduces average mains water pressure of approx 4 - 5 Bar (57.6 psi - 72 psi) down to approx 1 Bar (14.4 psi). Ideal for areas with high water pressure and areas affected by a hose pipe ban in order to reduce the water pressure from the tap prior to it entering the Soaker Hose. The standard procedure as laid down by the water authorities in times of water shortage is to incorporate a Pressure Regulator and a Timer when installing Soaker Hoses.
