Ball Valve Tap - Rigid plastic 16mm Barbed Fitting allows water to flow through it from one hose pipe to another. On and off tap turns from side to side. Can be used to regulate the flow of water by having the valve fully open or partially closed. Ball Valve Taps can be positioned anywhere along the irrigation system including Soaker Hose and standard hose pipe. When multiple Ball Valve Taps are used, some can be left partially closed off whilst other branch hoses are left fully open. This is an ideal thirst quenching solution for problem vegetables such as potatoes, lettuces and broad beans which require consistent watering. Dip the end of the Soaker Hose into some hot water, then push the barbed fitting firmly into place. This forms a good water tight seal.
